Griffin Sports: Kur Kur signs with Serbian SuperLiga side FK Novi Pazar

Adelaide City FC can officially confirm the departure of midfielder Kur Kur, who has joined Serbian club FK Novi Pazar on a one-year deal

“Thank you to all the staff, fans, and players at Adelaide City Football Club,” Kur said.

“I have enjoyed my time at this football club. Thank you to (coach) Paul Pezos for giving me an opportunity to play my best football.

“I am grateful to Adelaide City. Wishing the team all the best in the Australia Cup (tonight) and the rest of the season.”

Head Coach Paul Pezos also gave a statement on Kur Kur.

“I would like to wish Kur Kur all the very best on his professional football journey. We the coaching staff who put a lot of time into Kur Kur are so happy to be part of his professional journey,” Pezos said

“Whilst Kur was with us we have seen him develop over time not only as a footballer but as a human being. Kur is a very special player who brings something unique to the modern game and we were fortunate enough to see this week in, week out.

“He will be sadly missed by all but at the same time a bundle of joy. Congratulations Kur, we will be following you the whole way.”
